The Ferryman Hotel is situated on a historic stretch of Dublin's South quays. As recently as the mid 1980's Guinness boats carrying barrels of their famous brew sailed past The Ferryman en route to their dock. Located in two refurbished Georgian buildings, the Ferryman Hotel offers clean comfortable accommodation coupled with quality food and drink in a classic Georgian ambience.

Each of the twenty two en suite rooms include remote control colour televisions, direct dial telephones, ISDN lines for the business traveller, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel offers a selection of room layouts and welcomes groups of all kinds. However, as there is no elevator in the hotel, it may not be suitable for guests with disabilities.

Dining & Entertainment

The Ferryman Hotel is home to O'Briens Pub, a lively night spot which is especially popular with the younger crowd. However, due to the noise created by the pub, the hotel may not be suitable for older guests. The Southbank restaurant serves excellent cuisine throughout the day, and the wide selection of menus are bound to offer something for every visitor.

Location

The Ferryman Hotel is located on Sir John Rogersons quay, and is a fifteen minute walk from the city centre and the attractions which it has to offer. It is approximately twenty minutes walk from Temple Bar and the Central Business Districts, and just ten minutes walk from the IFSC which is located directly opposite it, on the north banks of the River Liffey. It is approximately twenty five minutes by car from Dublin airport.
